21 will be the best year of your life. 22 will be alright if not as fun, but you'll feel like you've finally fully joined the "adult" population, no longer being a "young pup." 23 will be the year you start to feel old. 24 will sneak up on you and you'll wonder where in the hell 23 went. 25 will be the year that you realize you're halfway to 50 and still have no idea what you want to be "when you grow up"; it'll be the year that you realize that girls who are 18 now were 10-11 years old when you were a senior in high school; and it'll be the year when you finally realize in a way you can't possibly imagine that you'll never become an "adult"-- all you can do is fake it like the rest of us.
